Essential Questions:

  1. How can teachers promote technology in a classroom with limited resources?

I chose this question because it corresponds with my critical issue. Although my paper suggests that teachers have a responsibility to promote technology even if resources are limited, I did not discuss how teachers can do this with limited resources.

  1. How can teachers promote students to explore the internet while practicing internet safety?

This is a hot topic with young students, and it is something I discuss with my students on occasion. While I want them to use the internet effectively, I also need to make sure they are safe.

  1. How can teachers use technology to differentiate instruction?

As a special education teacher who works in inclusion classrooms, differentiating instruction is always important. I thought it would be worthwhile to discuss how technology can be used as a vehicle to differentiate instruction in a classroom with many different learning styles and levels.

  1. Should teachers be held accountable if they are not using technology in their classrooms? If so, how?
This is a topic that has come up in some of our blogs and class discussions. I am interested to see how people feel about this issue. One of the examples that was mentioned in class is what would it be like if we didn’t enforce doctors to use modern technology to help their patients? I have been thinking about that example and would be interested in discussing it further.
